How The Program works If you are reading this then you may have probably found that losing weight can be a real struggle. The chances are that you may have tried lots of different weight loss programs and diets that have not given you the results that you thought you would get. This may have left you in a position where you feel that you can't lose weight. Or that losing weight is so difficult, that it is no longer worth the bother anymore. Well don't give up just yet because this weight management program may just be the program that finally allows you to achieve your weight goals. This program works by teaching you how to use your most valuable asset when it comes to weight loss and that’s your mind. Until you change your programming running in your mind your weight loss goals will only be a dream. Your mind will always give you what you focus on. This is why this program is so effective because rather than getting you to diet or take pills which only focuses you on food and being overweight; it teaches you how to focus on what you want. How does it do This? At the start of your session we will ask what changes you need to make in your life in order to reach your weight goal. We will then use the power of hypnosis to re-program your mind with this new positive belief. We will also teach you how to use the exact same technique in order to ensure continued success. This is what we believe sets us apart from many of the weight programs that are currently available. By learning many of the techniques that we use during our hypnosis sessions will ensure that your weight goal will be achieved. You will feel confident knowing that you have complete control over the part of your mind which as made it difficult for you to lose weight in the past. One of the things that we have discovered by teaching our clients the techniques, was that our successes increased dramatically. Clients started telling us that they felt confident knowing that they had the tools in order to have continued success. Another aspect of our weight program which sets us apart from many other programs is the fact that all our sessions are customized to your particular needs. We understand that when it comes to weight loss a one size fits all approach does not work. You may have followed a program in the past were you had to change in order to fit the program. Our program is different because we listen to you and then tailor our program to your particular needs. How many sessions does it normally take? At Control Your Weight we have one of two programs for you to choose from. We have a foundation phase which will teach you all of the skills needed in order to reach your goal weight. We then have a continuation phase for clients that want to have more sessions after they have completed the foundation phase. The foundation phase of the program is what all clients will go through when they attend our weight loss program. This part of the program is run over four sessions and it will learn you how to program your mind effectively for weight loss. A typical session plan will be as follows: Session 1 During this session we will begin by taking a full case history and then ask you what you need from the sessions in order to succeed at your weight goals. We will then focus your attention on your weight goal and get you to pick an achievable date when you would like to be this weight. After this we will then begin to go through your weight management workbook and explain how you will use the worksheets that are inside. Before we then do the hypnosis we will then go through the common misconceptions that people have about hypnosis and answers any questions that you may have. Then during the hypnosis part of the session we will then begin to give you suggestions which will help you to achieve your goal weight. We will then bring you out of hypnosis and again answers any questions you have. Lastly we will schedule your next appointment. Session 2 When you come in for your second appointment we will ask how you have been over the week and what changes you have noticed. We will then ask if you want anything extra included into the hypnosis session that you may have not told us about the week before. Once we have done this we will then go through your weight management workbook and teach you how to use the techniques that you will find in there. We will then answer any questions you may have before we start with the hypnosis. During the hypnosis part of the sessions we will get you to imagine yourself at your goal weight and to imagine stepping inside this image knowing that this image is becoming your reality. We will then bring you out of hypnosis, answer any questions and then schedule you in for your next appointment. Session 3 During session three we will actually teach you three different methods of self-hypnosis. We will remove any misconceptions that you may have about self-hypnosis and also explain the benefits that using it will have for you. We will then teach you how you can customize a self-hypnosis script on anything that you desire. During the hypnosis part of the session we will go through your very own self-hypnosis script and also record the session so that it can be put onto CD. When you come out of hypnosis we will answers any questions and schedule you in the diary for your fourth session. Session 4 When you come in for session four you will have a almost all the tools necessary in order to reach your goal weight. So this session is used to put the final piece into the jigsaw which we had been putting together over the last few weeks. During this session you will learn how important your self talk is when it comes to weight control and how you can use it to help you to achieve your goal. Before we then do any hypnosis we will ask if you want anything included into the session. When we do the hypnosis the suggestions will be based on success and anything which you feel may be relevant to your success. When you emerge from hypnosis I will answer any questions that you may have and go through any techniques that you may be having difficulty with. When you finish the foundation phase you will have all the tools necessary in order to continue the program on your own. However some clients may feel that they still need extra help in order to reach their goals and this is were the continuation phase starts. continuation phase The continuation phase works by splitting the clients weight goal into four smaller goals. So if a client starts the continuation phase program and they weigh thirteen stone and their target weight is eleven stone they need to reduce their weight by two stone in order to reach their target. So what we do is we split the two stones into four smaller goals, which means each goal is seven pounds. The client is then asked to think of a date in which they feel that this smaller goal could be achieved and an appointment is then scheduled for this date. If the client comes for the session and they have not reached their target weight then we use some of that session to uncover the reasons for this. When we then do the hypnosis the suggestions will then be focused on them doing things correctly and continued success. At the end if the session the client will then schedule their next appointment for a time in which they feel they will be at their next target weight. By scheduling appointments in this way, clients know that when they have finished the program they will be at their target weight or very close to achieving it.
